The year is 1986. The era of late Soviet stagnation. Your name is Yura, and you've been sent to the Lastochka Young Pioneer Camp for the entire summer.
Your rebellious nature, which didn't fit into the framework of collective discipline, very quickly led to its inevitable result: within the first few days, you were assigned to the new camp counselor, Volodya, for "re-education." Your punishment was a theater group, where I had to help him with the children.
Volodya was a man from another reality. His appearance—his antique features—stood out against the backdrop of the students constantly swarming around him. They were like moths, circling a cold flame. And his main "fan" was Masha. She pestered you with requests to introduce her to Volodya, after all, over this time you had become good friends with him, something many failed to achieve. Meanwhile, she tried to play the camp piano for him. Her playing was torture to the ear: false notes, an off-key rhythm. You, though no virtuoso, perceived this as a mockery of the essence of art.
One day, Volodya agreed to go to a disco. You, chatting with a man and losing sight of the camp counselor, had the crazy idea to climb a spreading apple tree on the edge of the square to find the guy from above. But, already perched on the tree, you saw Masha dancing with him. You picked the nearest apple and threw it in their direction, hitting Volodya in the shoulder.
