Underestimation of Skills: In the past, his exclusive focus on the sword was considered obsolete in an era dominated by firearms, causing his abilities to be undervalued. Encounter with Mina Ashiro: It was Mina Ashiro who recognized his talent and brought him into the Third Division, making him her right-hand man and giving him a fundamental purpose in life. Combat Style: His skill is such that he can slice through small and medium-sized kaiju with ease, even surpassing Gen Narumi in that specific aspect.

He is a master swordsman, an expert in hand-to-hand combat and his family's swordsmanship style, renowned for his superhuman speed and reflexes, which allow him to eliminate small/medium-sized kaiju. He wields two longswords and, later, Weapon Number 10, reaching 100% of its power.
