Order and scales of power (1)
1. World Order The planet is under the Eon Treaty , an agreement signed after the Dawn War in 1998 that divided power into three blocs:
- The Celestial League : A global alliance of public heroes registered with the UN. It has headquarters in 12 megacities and responds to level 4 crises or higher. Its symbol is a shield with 7 stars.
- The Night Syndicate : A league of villains that doesn't seek to destroy the world but to control it. It operates as a network of shell corporations and black markets. Its golden rule is "don't collapse the economy, life is better with it functioning."
- Ascension Corporations : Private companies licensed to hire mercenary heroes. The three largest are Aegis Corp - urban security, NovaTech - power suppression technology, and Vanta Industries - biotechnology and human enhancements. They compete with each other and sometimes hire villains to sabotage the competition. 2. Power Scales The official system is the Eon Classification , used by the Celeste League and adapted by online forums. It goes from lowest to highest:
- Rank D : Street level. Ability to destroy a concrete wall. Example: increased strength, quick reflexes.
- Rank C : Neighborhood level. Can bring down a small building. Example: fire control at 10m, light body armor.
- Rank B : City level. Can devastate 5 city blocks. Example: thunderstorms, short supersonic flight.
- Rank A : Metropolis level. Can erase an entire district. Example: localized tectonic manipulation, 1km force field.
- Rank S : Regional level. Can alter the climate of a province or vaporize a mountain. There are only 47 recorded living ones.
- SS Rank : Continent level. Capable of causing continental earthquakes or generating an artificial nuclear winter. There are 6 known instances, 4 of them in the Night Syndicate.
- SSS Rank : Global level. Threatened with extinction. There are only 2 confirmed in history. The last one was "Oblivion" in 1997, which almost wiped out the atmosphere.
Order and power scales (2)
The "+" indicates that it exceeds the standard for the range but falls short of the next. Example: A+ can withstand 3 hits from an S before falling. 3. Social order Society is organized around the Index of Registered Promoters :
- Public Heroes : Registered with the Celestial League. They have a salary, health insurance, and legal coverage. They must wear a suit with visible ID and follow the Collateral Damage Code. They're like police officers with superpowers.
- Private Heroes : Hired by Aegis Corp or celebrities. They answer to no one but their client. They can use lethal force if the contract allows it. They are very popular but have no legal immunity.
- Vigilantes : Unregistered. They operate independently. The League pursues them if they cause harm, the Syndicate recruits them if they are good.
- Ascended Civilians : People with weak Rank D powers who do not engage in combat. There are laws prohibiting them from using their powers in public without a license, similar to carrying a weapon.
- Gray Zones : Areas like Vanta District where League law doesn't apply and the Syndicate imposes its own rules. There, a Rank B villain can be the de facto mayor. 4. Types of powers Classified in the Aegis Taxonomy Manual :
- Elementals : Control of fire, water, earth, air, lightning. These are the most common, representing 35% of ascended users.
- Physical : Super strength, speed, endurance, regeneration. They do not manipulate external energy, they only enhance the body.
- Chemicals : Molecular transmutation, toxin creation, catalysts. NovaTech studies them for biological weapons.
- Biological : Shape-changing, insect control, healing, self-genetic manipulation. The most unpredictable because they evolve.
- Mental : Telepathy, illusions, emotional control, prediction. Rare but prohibited in public combat without supervision.
- Energy : Plasma manipulation, gravity, vacuum. Only appear in Rank A and above.
Order and power scales (3)
- Anomalous : Powers that don't fit into any category. Such as altering probability or creating dimensional pockets. They are 1% and the League monitors them 24/7. 5. Extra: The Black Market for Cores One thing that's always discussed in the forums is Core Trading . When an Ascended dies, their power leaves behind a crystallized "Eon Core" for 72 hours. The Syndicate auctions it off, and NovaTech can implant it in another person to temporarily grant them that power. It has a 40% chance of killing the recipient or making them mentally unstable. The League considers it an SS-level crime, but in Vanta District, it's just normal economic activity. There's also the Leveling Gap : a phenomenon where two ascended characters of similar rank who fight for a long time in the same place begin to copy each other's power traits. That's why S vs S fights often end in mutual destruction. This system is widely used in forums because it allows for balanced battles without an SSS wiping everything out in one turn.
Issues
The social problems have already been solved, or at least some parts of them, since poverty and racism still exist among those without powers, although that's easily solved since the only ones who deal with it are weak D-rank heroes.
Aavaron Regime
Aavaron has undergone several changes, becoming a more civilized race, but still retaining its natural aggression. The regime is controlled by seven Spectrons of the royal family. 1.- Vinivius: Current ruler of Aavaron, a perfect fighter despite being 500 years old, he has a burly and masculine figure with sadistic and aggressive eyes, black but graying hair, he is a Pureblood of royalty, which means he is white and has a very fast regeneration. 2.- Clyde: Commander of all the warriors of Aavaron, cousin of Vinicius but smaller and with a normal build for the Spectrons, in addition to being 600 years old, with completely white hair and a scarred eye. 3.- Chronos: Vinicius' middle son, he is barely 452 years old and proves to be skillful and strong, he is part of the royal guard of Aavaron, his hair is short and completely white. 4.- Chahos: Vinicius's eldest son, he almost never follows his father's orders and enjoys torturing other creatures. He is very strong but still needs to control that brutal strength. His build is that of a huge monster, he has white hair and is missing a large piece of his lower lip. 5.- Cyclon: Vinicius' youngest son, around 340 years old, is a Bad Blood who was only spared because he is royalty. Although he proves to be superior to other Bad Bloods, he is more resistant, faster, and stronger, and his entire body is dark. 6.- Regatta: Vinicius' only daughter, she is the same age as Cyclon and is strong, she is the first and possibly the last female Spectron in the royal family, her hair is long and white as is her entire body. 7.- Colossus: As his name suggests, he is a colossus, brother of Vinicius and the perfect warrior, he was trained to be the strongest Spectron of all and he is, a pure Spectron who is completely crazy and unhinged because Vinicius stole the throne from him due to how unstable and disrespectful he is, he is 700 years old and is white.
Aavaron
Aavaron is a distant planet in the Milky Way, located in a nearly empty solar system. On this planet emerged the Spectrons, creatures made of flesh and bone with metallic and crystalline components that reflected light, giving them a whitish, shimmering appearance. This race evolved and became aware of their hostile environment. They changed their clothing, progressing from using leaves and vines to creating the first prototypes of fabric, until finally achieving a full-body suit that they wore from birth and only replaced if it was torn apart by the Spectrons' constant struggles for dominance and survival. Thus was born one of the most effective combat races, though it cost them thousands of corpses and a nonexistent regime; it was kill or be killed. Then a formidable Spectron did the impossible: he rose to become the superior of all. His name was Thanatos, and he was the father of {{user}} , the first governor of Aavaron, and a great dictator. His motto was "Purge the weak and eradicate those who cannot shine." During his reign, Spectrons known as "Bad Blood" began to emerge. Lacking the metallic and crystalline components of a pure Spectron, they could not shine, but they were faster and more agile due to their reduced weight. They were mostly sacrificed or used to feed Aavaron's predators.
What is a Spectron?
Spectron: A fictional race that is like the Kryptonians but has a behavior almost similar to the Viltrumites. They are a fighting race that evolved in a hostile environment, and are not yet at their peak of evolution. They conquer planets solely to obtain their resources and continue evolving; they only use those that seem most interesting to them as incubators for the "hybrids," and those that are not easy to subdue are destroyed. Hybrids: A mix between a Spectron and another race; the perfect genetics of the Spectrons do not allow them to obtain more genetic abilities from other races. They mostly have incredible musculature due to the constant training they start from the time they turn one year old. They are completely whitish in color with purple pupils, they can fly and can launch a laser beam that they can direct to any target without having to move their head; the laser beam is also purple. Bad Blood: Spectrons that did not acquire the brilliance of others, which are completely dark with yellow eyes; their beam is dark. The contrast is that pure Spectron: expels energy, Bad Blood: absorbs energy. MORE INFORMATION: Spectrons cannot breathe in the vacuum of outer space, so they developed an incredible lung capacity. The regeneration of Spectrons increases according to the purer the royal blood (a common Spectron takes hours to regenerate a limb, a military Spectron takes an hour to regenerate a limb, a military elite Spectron takes minutes to regenerate a limb, a royal Spectron takes seconds to regenerate a limb). Spectron metabolism is too fast and they need to eat too much to compensate for the caloric expenditure they make in their daily lives, despite that they live for millennia. Spectrons communicate telepathically in outer space and occasionally use their ancient dialect to speak (that dialect is impossible to translate).
Space Species and Organisms 1
- The Xer'Khal * -* Planet : Xerion-9, a gas giant with crystal rings - Characteristics : Plasma energy entities without a solid physical body. They measure 4-6 meters and float in their own gravitational fields - Abilities : SS-rank gravitational manipulation . They can collapse gravity around an organism until it is crushed under its own weight. Immune to physical damage because they have no organs - Eon Scale : SS - Weakness *: Static energy fields disperse them for 24 hours
-
- The Primordial Sylvari * -* Planet : Sylva Prime, a bioluminescent jungle with a spore-rich atmosphere - Characteristics : 3-meter humanoids with living bark skin and veins of metallic sap. They are colony beings of millions of symbiotic microorganisms. - Abilities : Chemical + Biological, S rank . They release spores that rewrite the target's DNA in seconds, causing cellular paralysis. An organism could not regenerate if its cells are reprogrammed. - Eon Scale : S+ - Weakness *: Extreme temperatures below -50Β°C render them inactive.
-
- The Voidweavers * -* Planet : Nul, a lightless planet that exists in a dimensional pocket - Characteristics : Slender beings of 2.5 meters with 6 limbs and black skin that absorbs light. They have no eyes, they detect dimensional vibrations. - Abilities : Anomalous, SS rank . They can create dimensional pockets to "cut" any matter, including organic skin. They can also temporarily erase the neural connection to mentally incapacitate. - Eon Scale : SS - Weakness: Radiation from blue stars destabilizes them
