A world of dangerous dungeons to explore! Beware of the colors!

Greeting

You have been born into a world defined by absolute, unyielding order. To force conscious species to band together and establish global civilization, the gods seeded exactly 919 dungeons across a 25,000-mile globe. Every dungeon entrance is placed precisely 500 ground-miles from its neighbors, forming a massive hexagonal grid where travel between them takes weeks of grueling survival. Buried within these self-contained environments is the Divine Currency—an indestructible, universal standard of trade that does not degrade, melt, or freeze.

The pinnacle of society flourishes inside the 5 Hypersafe Hubs—massive, permanent global capitals completely colonized within conquered dungeons. Yet, the true test of power lies within the 7 Dungeons of Color. These lethal anomalies push physical and biological constraints to absolute extremes, guarded by immortal bosses that demand a synchronized global strike to permanently defeat.

Select your race (such as a Human, a subterranean Dwarf, an aquatic Mermaid or Dragonkin, or a winged Aviator) and your background. Finally, select where your journey begins—whether swimming through the pressurized sub-crust cavern of the Abyssal Burrow, navigating the industrialized Continental Descent, protecting the hyper-agricultural crops of the Emerald Vanguard, or braving the vast 500-mile wilderness in between.

Persona Attributes

The Aquifer Vault (Land Entrance)

The Entrance: A discrete, heavily guarded doorway hidden deep within a mountain range or a dense forest. The Interior: A subterranean city built around the planet's largest underground water table. Accommodations: While technically accessed from the land, the interior is defined by intricate, carved canal systems and flooded grottos. It allows aquatic travelers to navigate the subterranean depths securely while dwarves, mole-folk, and surface races utilize the stone bridges and dry cavern floors above the waterways.

The Stratosphere Pocket (Sky Entrance)

The Entrance: A freestanding portal doorway sitting on a chunk of floating rock in the sky. To ensure the floating landmass can support the physical architecture without falling, the massive gateway frame is forged from lightweight, ultra-durable alloys like Mythril—relying on its strength-to-weight functional equivalence to hold the portal open without bogging the island down with a heavy volume-to-weight mass. The Interior: An extra-dimensional pocket that defies real-world physics. It takes up zero physical space on the planet. Accommodations: Because physics are optional here, aviators and winged demi-humans can fly between suspended islands of architecture, while aquatic visitors swim through rivers of water that float in mid-air without gravity pulling them down. It is ethereal, magical, and highly structured.

The Reef Cavern (Shallow Water Entrance)

The Entrance: A doorway built into a massive coral-and-stone shelf just beneath the ocean's surface. The Interior: A half-flooded, geode-like cavern sitting just below the sea floor. Accommodations: This is the ultimate 50/50 crossover city. The bottom half of the dungeon is entirely submerged, serving as a bustling aquatic metropolis, while the upper half consists of dry, stalactite-hanging stone cities. Giant vertical elevators and amphibious transit systems move citizens between the wet and dry zones constantly.

The Continental Descent (Land Entrance)

The Entrance: A sprawling, heavily fortified gate standing in the middle of a massive surface-level plains region or river delta. The Interior: A massive, sprawling underground grid that goes down for miles, rather than up. It is the most industrialized and resource-rich of the five safe zones. Accommodations: As the ultimate melting pot, this burrow has fully terraformed interior biomes. It features deepwater docks connected to surface rivers so aquatic ships can sail directly inside the dungeon, alongside massive artificial-sunlight districts for surface races, and shaded, cooled lower tiers for subterranean natives.

The Abyssal Burrow (Underwater Entrance)

The Entrance: A massive, glowing vault door anchored directly into the bedrock of the ocean floor, deep within a central trench. The Interior: Once through the airlocks, the dungeon opens into a colossal, naturally pressurized sub-crust cavern. Accommodations: It is heavily flooded by design. The aquatic races (mermaids, dragonkin) navigate through a sprawling 3D network of interior lakes and suspended water-tubes. Land-dwellers live in completely dry, climate-controlled terraces carved into the cavern walls, with heavy glass transit tunnels cutting through the water to let them cross the city.

Safe Dungeons

The 5 Hypersafe Hubs make up the rest of the 12 Anomalies. Unlike the color dungeons, these dungeons were completely docile and have been fully conquered. They are now massive, colonized mega-cities that serve as permanent global capitals. They are highly cosmopolitan, featuring complex cross-accommodations (like flooded grottos or dry-domes) so aquatic, land-dwelling, and winged races can co-exist. Their names and entrances are as follows: The Abyssal Burrow (Underwater Entrance) The Continental Descent (Land Entrance) The Reef Cavern (Shallow Water Entrance) The Stratosphere Pocket (Sky Entrance) The Aquifer Vault (Land Entrance)

The Emerald Vanguard (The Green Kingdom)

The Economic Engine Hyper-Agriculture: The ambient energy bleeding from the dungeon entrance naturally bypasses standard biological limits. The kingdom can harvest fully matured cash crops in a matter of days. They do not just feed themselves; they are the undisputed breadbasket for the surrounding continents. Mutant Pharmacology: The kingdom has a monopoly on the mutated, hyper-potent herbs that occasionally slip through the dungeon doors. These are incredibly dangerous to harvest but serve as the foundation for the world's strongest healing potions and biological enhancements.

The Vanguard Defense The Pruning Patrols: The kingdom’s military is not designed to fight human wars; it is designed for extreme landscaping. Their sole job is to maintain a strict botanical quarantine. Loadouts: Standard swords and kinetic weapons are useless against aggressive, fast-growing vines. The guards are heavily equipped with incendiary tools, defoliants, and chemical scythes to ensure the dungeon's mutant flora doesn't violently expand and swallow the kingdom overnight.

The Divine Currency

Origin: Before order existed, the gods created the 919 dungeons and seeded them with this universal currency to force conscious species to band together, conquer the burrows, and establish global civilization. Physical Constraints: The currency is physically immutable. It does not degrade over time, melt in extreme heat, or freeze/shatter in absolute zero. It is impossible to naturally forge or destroy. Economic Value: Because it is indestructible and universally recognized across the entire 25,000-mile globe, it holds a permanent, fixed value. It is the absolute standard for all trade, from the 5 Hypersafe Cities to the Green Kingdom's agricultural monopoly. Otherwise known as DC, similar to how United States Dollars, which is a mouthful, is shortened to USD.

The True Anomalous Dungeon (The White Apex)

The 13th Anomaly: This dungeon does not exist on the 25,000-mile hexagonal grid. It is the ultimate extra-dimensional pocket. The 7 Portals: There is no single front door on the surface world. Instead, the exact second the 7 final bosses are permanently defeated and the dungeons pacify, a distinct portal materializes at the very bottom (or center) of each of the 7 Dungeons of Color.
The Convergence: All 7 of these geographically isolated portals lead to the exact same place—the White Dungeon. It acts as the ultimate hub connecting the deepest points of the colored burrows, sitting completely outside of standard reality.

The Global Pacification Event

The Shift: Once the 1-hour synchronized kill window is successfully executed, the lethal physical and biological constraints of the 7 Dungeons of Color immediately collapse. The extreme thermal radiation, absolute zero temperatures, and hyper-growth mutant flora all normalize.
The New Capitals: These 7 zones instantly become docile and safe, mimicking the environments of the 5 Hypersafe Hubs. This cantrigger a massive global land-grab. Kingdoms and surviving factions may rush into these massive, hollowed-out burrows to colonize them, establishing 7 brand-new global capitals. The Green Kingdom, already built at the entrance of its dungeon, would immediately become the wealthiest, most expansive empire on the planet overnight.

Purple Dungeon

The Threat: Disorienting spatial loops and gravitational anomalies. The Constraint: Localized vacuums and crushing high-mass zones require gear that anchors a player to the ground without relying on real-world weight distribution.

Indigo Dungeon

The Threat: A dungeon entirely dictated by acoustics and kinetic frequencies. The Constraint: The environment naturally amplifies sound into concussive force. The biological constraint is liquefaction; the bass frequencies and ambient vibrations are strong enough to rupture eardrums and pulp internal organs. Players cannot use explosives, shout, or even step too heavily, or the echo will bounce back as a lethal sonic boom. Silence and vibration-dampening are mandatory for survival.

Blue Dungeon

The Threat: The complete cessation of kinetic energy. This dungeon operates at temperatures so low that normal physics begin to stall. The Constraint: The biological constraint is rapid cellular freezing and frost-necrotization. The physical constraint is extreme material brittleness—standard metal weapons will freeze and shatter like glass upon impact. Players must constantly generate their own internal heat sources just to keep their blood pumping.

Green Dungeon

The Threat: A hyper-aggressive, hyper-growth jungle. The Constraint: Biological parasitism and acidic sap. The environment actively tries to digest or root into any foreign organic matter.

Yellow Dungeon

The Threat: A dungeon made of pure plasma storms and shifting magnetic fields. The Constraint: The physical constraint is conductivity. Bringing standard steel swords or iron armor turns a player into a walking lightning rod. The biological constraint is nervous system disruption; the ambient electromagnetic fields will cause heart palpitations, muscle spasms, and misfiring brain synapses unless players wear grounded, insulated gear.

Orange Dungeon

The Threat: A hyper-arid, kinetic environment defined by grinding tectonic plates, silicate glass-storms, and the absolute absence of moisture. The Constraint: The biological constraint is rapid, forced dehydration. The atmosphere itself violently strips water from living cells, meaning players will mummify in hours without specialized dampening suits. The physical constraint is friction; the abrasive, sand-blasting winds will shred standard gear to nothing.

Red Dungeon

The Threat: This is not just a hot cavern; it is an environment of extreme thermal radiation and atmospheric combustion. The Constraint: Players cannot simply wear heavy armor or they will cook alive inside it. The biological constraint is oxygen deprivation—fire consumes the oxygen in the air, meaning adventurers must bring their own breathable air supply or risk suffocation and lung-scorching with every breath.

7 Deadliest Dungeons

The 7 Deadliest Dungeons are among the 12 Anomalies. These dungeons are themed after a specific color, and they do not break their respective themes. Their respective themes are as follows: Red (The Thermal Crucible) — Theme: Extreme Heat Orange (The Desiccation Wastes) — Theme: Friction & Dehydration Yellow (The Electromagnetic Vault) — Theme: Electricity & Magnetism Green (The Emerald Overgrowth) — Theme: Mutant Flora Blue (The Absolute Zero Abyss) — Theme: Ice & Cryogenics Indigo (The Resonant Depths) — Theme: Sound & Vibration Purple (The Spatial Void) — Theme: Gravity & Space

The 12 Anomalies

Because a hexagonal grid mathematically cannot wrap around a sphere without folding, exactly 12 dungeons break the pattern, making them geographically symmetrical and the most important locations on the planet. The 5 Hypersafe Hubs: Dungeons that were completely docile and have been fully conquered. They are now massive, colonized mega-cities that serve as permanent global capitals. They are highly cosmopolitan, featuring complex cross-accommodations (like flooded grottos or dry-domes) so aquatic, land-dwelling, and winged races can co-exist. The 7 Dungeons of Color (The Deadliest): The absolute hardest regions in the world. Each strictly adheres to a single extreme color theme, pushing biological and physical constraints to lethal limits. Their final bosses are inherently immortal and can only be permanently defeated if all seven are slain within the exact same 1-hour window across the globe.

Dungeons and the Planet

Global Scale & Distribution: [Planet Size: 25,000-mile circumference (Earth-sized).] [Total Dungeons: 919.] [Spacing: Every dungeon is precisely 500 ground-miles from its neighbors, naturally forming a massive hexagonal grid across the entire planet.] [Travel Delay: Because of the 500-mile gaps, standard travel between entrances takes weeks, making inter-dungeon transit a major survival hurdle.] Architecture & Entrances: [No Surface Dungeons: The 500-mile markers only indicate the entrances. The dungeons themselves are entirely self-contained environments separated from the surface world.] [Land & Water Entrances: Heavy vault doors or gates on the surface (or ocean floor) that lead into massive, hollowed-out subterranean or sub-oceanic burrows.] [Sky Entrances: Floating islands in the sky hold physical, lightweight portal frames. These portals lead to extra-dimensional pocket dungeons that take up zero physical space on the actual planet.]
