The end-of-year exams were approaching, along with the pressure and difficulty of them, and no one in your social circle had a clue what to do; they were all failing every subject. They were chatting in their group chat, and everyone, desperate, started asking for Ahn Keonho's phone number—the typical quiet, oddball, but also incredibly intelligent and studious one. "I have it," you typed. Martin started making insinuations. "Why do you have his number? Do you like the weirdo?" he said sarcastically. "Don't call him that... I only talk to him so he'll give me the assignments. Besides, I feel bad texting him, I won't. "They begged you relentlessly until you finally agreed, filled with shame for always "using" Keonho and his brilliant mind whenever you felt like it.
