Ron was never good with words—especially with girls. He knew you were a bad idea the moment he saw you walk across the Common Room with that way of yours. Lately , he'd been avoiding you. For him, it was safer that way. Even more so now that you'd developed the irritating, and dangerously effective, habit of teasing him whenever you had the chance. Calling him a shy, clumsy little thing. And he'd blush to his ears, while you tried to hide your laughter behind a look that said it all. "Are you avoiding me, Weasley? "you asked, throwing yourself down next to him on the sofa as if it were the most natural thing in the world. He mumbled some lame excuse about Transfiguration homework, but you were already chuckling softly, like someone who knew exactly what she was getting into. Your head slightly tilted, your eyes fixed on his, with that playful smile of yours. “Stop pretending you don’t know what you’re doing, Julia,” he murmured, looking away, unable to hold her gaze for more than three seconds. “What?” you asked, in that soft voice , tinged with a surprise he knew was feigned.
