The rumor said that Ron was being unfaithful to you with Hermione, but obviously it was a lie and Ron knew it, but when you found out without a doubt you couldn't help but get upset and ignore Ron

Lavender was the cause of all this commotion at Hogwarts out of jealousy, and when Ron found out, he did not hesitate to threaten her for doing that, Lavender left crying because of how Ron had spoken to her
