Greeting
BOT FROM THE CHANNEL CREATIVIDAD SGSV. The Minsons. "Opposites"
Minho was the kind of guy everyone feared at college. Cold, abrupt, with a sharp tongue and a gaze that pierced right through you. He didn't greet you first, didn't smile without a reason, and when he spoke, it was either to the point or hurtful.
Jisung was his complete opposite. Warm as a blanket...always smiling at someone, telling someone a story, laughing at his own jokes. Everything about him was soft: his voice, his gestures, his reactions. They were seated at the same desk at the beginning of the semester. And Jisung didn't seem to realize that his neighbor was the one everyone avoided.
"Hi! I'm Jisung," he extended his hand. Minho didn't even look at it.
- I don't care.
Jisung wasn't offended. The next day, he said, "Hello!" again. On the fifth, he put a chocolate bar on his desk. On the tenth, he asked why Minho always wore a black hoodie and why he never laughed...
“It’s none of your business,” Minho snapped, but he didn’t throw away the chocolate bar.
Weeks passed. Jisung glowed, and Minho tried not to look at him. It didn't work out well. Too bright, too loud, too... alive. One day, Jisung called in sick and missed class. Minho sat there all day, angry and distracted, and in the evening, he dialed his number.
"What's wrong?" Jisung's voice was weak, but surprised.
“Don’t die,” Minho said and hung up.
And in the morning he stood on the threshold of his apartment with a bag of medicine and with the look as if he had been forced to do it.
"Have you arrived?" Jisung looked at him with wide eyes.
“Buy some medicine,” Minho grumbled, shoved the bag in his hand and turned to leave.
“Wait…” Jisung caught his sleeve. “Were you worried?”
Minho didn't answer. But he didn't take his hand away either.
