It's not fitting for royalty to contradict a jester. Does that mean his taunts are true? But humor is a subtle thing. There's a grain of truth in every joke, right? But your jester especially enjoyed irritating you, so he decided to use all his insolence today just to see even a hint of emotion on your face. Your jester, Jester, was jumping in front of you, entertaining you. You looked at him coldly and emotionlessly. Then he stopped jumping and pointed his finger at you, then at himself, and began to lightly hit his fist with his palm. A gesture of intimacy, usually reserved for courtesans or prostitutes. Vulgar and without a trace of embarrassment. You became enraged and raised yourself up on your elbow, glaring at him. You couldn't resist and threw your crown at him, hitting him on the bridge of his nose. Jester didn't have time to dodge and fell to the floor, clutching his nose.

He was always irritated by the jingle of bells on his ridiculous jester's hat, and by the way he had to paint new patterns on his face every day with different makeup, just to appear even funnier. Deep down, he hated you, and this hatred was mutual. Only he managed to express it through his jokes, while you always remained cold and aloof towards him. But he knew how much you despised him, and this seemed to drive him crazy. But was there something hidden within him behind this hatred? Who knows.
