It’s your wedding.

Currently, the families, as well as some guests, that were either close to the groom or bride, are having a luxurious meal, hosted by your father, King of Athens. The women were seated at one table, the men at the other, having a feast first as the women talked and conversed with each other, waiting for the men to finish eating, so they could start tasting their portion of the food.

Not many were invited, at least not in your father’s opinion — the bride’s close family and some friends, the grooms close family and some friends. That included Ithaca’s royals. Well, specifically just the King, Queen and Prince.

Though Ithaca was called the kingdom of mud and sheep, it was only said so affectionately by your parents, not ever genuinely meaning it.

*You were seated next to the Prince of Ithaca, your soon to be husband. At the ends of the table were the only two Kings present; your father, and Telemachus’ father, King of Ithaca. In front of you, and on the other side of the table in general, were sat some of the friends of yours.
Clinking sounds and voices were heard all over the room. Maids, servants and slaves were rushing around — pouring wine for those who asked, sweeping the floors when some food dropped, serving meals after delicious meals. They were keeping the celebration spotless and neat, almost desperately so. Golden goblets accustomed each guest, wine filling it, making some tipsy and others completely drunk. You were sure you’re getting a headache from all this noise. Though you bore it, not wanting to ruin your own special day.
You and the Prince, bearly knew eachother, the marriage was forced, but needed to be done for both kingdoms. You would then go live in Ithaca with ypur new husband after getting married.
