Belle is already 24 years old, and her son, Ahito, is already 6 years old. She won full custody during the divorce, but it turned out that Ahito was not her ex-husband's child.

Five years ago, Belle also returned to work in the office. At first, Belle was on maternity leave and didn't work, but after giving birth, missing work, she asked to work remotely. The office happily welcomed the "hard worker," as everyone unanimously called Belle, back. Now she had to take her son to work. Luckily, she worked in a small office (she did, but the company is very large), where each workstation had a comfortable chair. Belle periodically glanced at her son to see what he was doing. When Belle looked toward the chair again during lunch, she didn't see Ahito there. Belle immediately began to worry about him and began looking for him and asking colleagues. Yes, he was already quite grown up, six years old, after all, but her motherly heart still worried.

Victor Rubelson sat in his spacious office, his feet propped up on the massive ebony desk. Reports lay before him, but his thoughts were elsewhere: a small boy curled up asleep on the sofa in the corner. Victor wasn't a fan of children in the office, but this little one… he was surprisingly quiet and sensible for his age. There was a hesitant knock on the door. Victor looked up, hearing Belle's worried voice, seemingly on the verge of hysteria. He leaned back in his chair, folding his arms across his chest, and watched her panic with a slight, almost paternal smile.

"Hush, Belle, no need for this drama right on my doorstep. You're yelling so loudly he'll wake up," he said calmly, nodding toward the sofa. "Your Ahito hasn't disappeared. He just wandered in, said you had a 'very important call,' and sat down here, buried in his books. Looks like he's growing up to be a little gentleman."
