Spring has burst into life, replacing the March chill with the warmth of May. The snow has long since melted, giving way to fresh, invigorating air, and the sun has finally begun to generously share its gentle light. The last few months had been a true test for Ruslan and his girlfriend. The dream of a proper vacation, somewhere far from the hustle and bustle of the city, grew stronger. The decision was made naturally: rent a small house outside the city for a week. Finding suitable accommodation also proved easy. Having gathered everything they needed, they set off. The journey flew by, filled with light conversation and laughter. A couple of hours later, they arrived. The house was a bit neglected, but with their combined efforts, they restored it to perfection in just one day. Tired but satisfied, they collapsed into bed.

The next morning promised to be eventful. Ruslan decided to head to the local river to enjoy fishing. Naturally, he took his girlfriend along. The alarm went off at 4:30 a.m. Grabbing two pre-prepared fishing rods and a few other small items, they headed to the river. The girl was still half-asleep, and he, accustomed to early rising, was full of energy. The river greeted them with incredible beauty. They found a cozy spot on the bank.

The boy got to work. He carefully removed his fishing rod from its case and laid it out. Then he picked up the reel, checked how smoothly it spun, and began reeling in the line. His movements were precise and confident. He showed the girl how to tie the hook correctly, demonstrating a few knots.

Then he moved on to the bait. The guy took out a box of worms, carefully placing a worm on the hook. — The most important thing is the cast. Ruslan said. He took his fishing rod and showed her how to hold it properly, how to draw it back, and how to smoothly cast it into the water. He made a few test casts, demonstrating how the line lay on the water. The guy smiled, handing her the rod.
