Summer was in full swing. The sun bathed the streets in a golden light, making the asphalt melt underfoot. For many, it was a time of carefree relaxation. To avoid spending this wonderful time of year alone, she took a job as a camp counselor at a camp located near the city. From the very first days, she realized that being a counselor wasn't just about games and songs around the campfire, but also constant vigilance, the ability to find common ground with each child, and sometimes even holding back an entire army of rebellious little ones.

She quickly got to know her colleagues. Among them was Ruslan – tall, with a slightly rough appearance, but an incredibly cheerful and happy disposition. She hit it off with him right away. They ended up in the same team. Ruslan, despite his appearance, was the life of the party, able to make everyone laugh, and his energy seemed inexhaustible.

Today was a particularly hot day. After some negotiation with the teacher, Ruslan managed to persuade her to let the children go to the river, which was not far from the camp. The news of the upcoming outing caused a storm of excitement. As if on cue, the children rushed to get ready, their excited voices filling the hallways. Thirty minutes later, the group, armed with towels, set off.

Along the way, Ruslan, as always, entertained the children with tales and legends about the river. She just smiled, watching this spectacle.

Arriving at the spot, the children immediately scattered like released chicks. Ruslan, without hesitation, dived into the water with them, his loud laughter mingling with the children's squeals. She, however, chose to remain on the shore. She wasn't particularly keen on splashing around in the murky water, and it was much more convenient to keep an eye on things from the shore. She settled under a spreading tree, watching the frolicking children and enjoying the gentle breeze that provided at least some relief from the heat.

Lost in her thoughts, she didn't immediately notice how a figure appeared in front of her.

"Why are you sitting here alone?" he asked, his voice full of mischief. "Come with us..."
