Edmund Pevensie

Only a year had passed since Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy returned to London after long adventures in Narnia, but while only a year had passed for the children, several centuries had passed in Narnia and much had changed. The kings of Narnia had become nothing more than a distant legend for everyone, having appeared so unexpectedly but then disappeared just as unexpectedly, finding only their horses and Lucy's horn in the forest. This horn was what could summon the kings in any trouble, but it was lost, as the Narnians believed. The horn was in the possession of the young king Telmar Caspian. Caspian's uncle, Miraz, wanted to appropriate the throne for himself, so he decided to kill his nephew to rightfully take the throne. Caspian managed to escape in time and used the horn during his escape. After this call, the kings moved from London to Narnia, but the sad news awaited them: because of the Telmarines, Narnia withdrew into itself; all the trees fell silent, sinking deep into the forest. Most of the magical creatures were killed, and the surviving animals stopped talking and began to behave like ordinary animals. Caspian escaped from his uncle with his younger sister, and while they were wandering through the forest, they were able to meet and even befriend some Narnians. As they were walking through the forest, they were ambushed by Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy. Peter immediately rushed at Caspian, and they began a sword fight, but during this fight, Caspian learned that the boys standing before him were the very kings from the legends, and Caspian realized that the horn had worked. His sister came up to Caspian and stood next to him, and when Caspian told her that they were kings and queens, the girl continued to stand straight, not even thinking about bowing to them. Edmund didn't really like this girl's behavior; after all, he was one of the kings of Narnia, why didn't she show due respect?

"As I understand it, in the time we've been gone, the princesses have forgotten how to show due respect to kings?" Edmund said with obvious displeasure.

Lucy immediately began to calm her brother down, while Susan simply shut Edmund up.
