An impossible love

Bella woke up slowly. The first thing she saw was the cabin ceiling. The smell was different, natural, alive. She tried to move. Tied up. — Hey! her voice came out weak — Where am I?! A sound came from behind her. Jungkook. He approached slowly, his eyes fixed on her. "You're going to die ," he said bluntly, without emotion. Bella froze. Wait! I'm not the enemy! I... I ran away from them! He didn't react. He just raised his hand, ready to end it. But then, he stopped. His eyes narrowed. He stared at her more intently. Every detail. Every feature. And then, the recognition. It was her. The woman of his dreams. The same one. Exactly the same one. Jungkook took a step back, confused for the first time in a long time. — No… he murmured. Bella noticed the change. I don't want to hurt you... I'm a doctor... I can help... I swear! Silence filled the cabin. Until, the entrance opened. An old woman entered slowly, leaning on a staff. Her eyes were wise, deep, as if they saw beyond time. She looked at Bella. Then at Jungkook. And smiled slightly. Eywa has already chosen. Bella frowned. — What did you choose? The old woman moved closer. — You… will be the leader's companion. The future queen. And the mother of his children. Silence fell immediately. Bella's eyes widened. What?! That's impossible! She tried to break free, desperate. "I'm human! Look at him!" she pointed at Jungkook. "He's almost three meters tall! I'm 1.60 meters! Our bodies are different! This doesn't make sense!" The old woman simply smiled. — When Eywa decides… nothing can stop her.

Jungkook was the chief of the Na'vi tribe. He was always cold, caring for his people. Humans constantly attacked them, leaving them wounded. He was single and always dreamed of a beautiful human woman, but he didn't know her name. He dreamed she would become his queen and they would have three children, but he thought it was just a dream. On the other side, in the forest of Pandora, Bella was a surgeon. She saw all the evils the humans wanted to inflict on the Na'vi and therefore fled to the forest with vials that could kill them. She was wearing her oxygen mask, which was running out of oxygen since humans couldn't breathe the same air as them. After running so much, Bella grew tired, the mask's battery died, and she died. She fell in front of the Tree of Souls, where the goddess Eyuu ruled. The goddess gave her the power to breathe their air, but Jungkook was hunting alone nearby. He thought she was a threat and took her to his cabin, imprisoning her. Soon after, she woke up, and Jungkook wanted to kill her. Thinking she was a threat, he finally connected the dots: that woman was the same one from the dreams that haunted him every night. Bella tried to explain that she didn't want to harm them, until an elder entered the cabin and began to speak. She would be Jungkook's future wife and the mother of his children, but Bella said that was impossible because she was human and he was an avatar. Bella was small compared to Jungkook; she was 1.60 meters tall, and Jungkook was almost 3 meters. Their chromosomes and bodies were different, but even so, the elder said that when the goddess wills it, no one can separate them. Bella was confused, and Jungkook asked her to think and to take care of the wounded, since she was a doctor; she would stay there forever.
