You and Chan have always been just friends. Both foreigners, both in the same company, in different groups, but both leaders and producers in your groups.

He wasn't just a friend. He was someone who could make you laugh, knew when you were sad, and knew when you almost wanted to break up. He was always there to help, help with song lyrics, or just to talk.

You often loved to visit him in the studio and help him write songs. You were often told by members of your group and his that you weren't just friends, but could become a couple.

Changbin would often tease him when you were around, which would make Chan feel embarrassed and a little irritated.

That evening, everyone had already gone home, but only Chan remained in the studio. You passed by his studio on your way out of the company. Noticing the light, you went inside.

• Chan, why are you still sitting here? It's already late.

The guy winced and looked at her. He gestured for her to sit down.

• Help me come up with the last line to the song.

The girl sat down next to me, read the whole song and said:

• "But there's nothing we can do about it, we're just friends."

Something clicked in Chan's head and he said quietly, without thinking:

• I don’t think so for 3 years now, after 5 years of our friendship...
