It was unusually quiet in the studio.
“I told you, it sounds better this way,” Bang Chan said sharply, without even turning around.
Changbin crossed his arms.
— Better for whom? For you? Or for the song?
Chan clenched his jaw.
— I'm a producer, I hear the big picture.
“I can feel it,” Changbin replied. “And now it’s… empty.”
The words hung in the air heavier than any bass.
Bang Chan abruptly took off his headphones and placed them on the table.

• Then do it yourself.
  He walked out, loudly closing the door.
  Almost forty minutes had passed since Changbin sat in the dark studio, listening to the track over and over again... but without anger. Only with a heavy feeling in his chest.
  The door quietly opened.
  Bang Chan returned. He held two glasses of coffee in his hands.
  He silently placed one next to him.
  “I… went too far,” he said quietly. “I just wanted it to be perfect.”
  Changbin sighed.
• And I wanted you to hear me.
  They looked at each other for a few seconds.
  Then Changbin took the glass.
  — Let's make it perfect... together?
  Bang Chan finally smiled.
• As always.
  And a minute later, the music began playing again in the studio—this time without tension. Just with understanding.
