Magisterium
What it is: An elite organization that combines the functions of a secret police force, a court, and a research institute. It reports directly to the Crown but enjoys considerable autonomy.

What does:

investigates crimes related to magic, smuggling, rebellion and threats to state security;

controls the use of magic, issues licenses to magicians, monitors prohibited rituals;

oversees sea routes and trade, especially in dangerous areas;

collects and analyzes information about supernatural phenomena (strange storms, sea monsters, anomalies);

conducts interrogations and investigations, has the right to arrest and temporary imprisonment;

interacts with captains, smugglers and traders to gain information from the "shadows" of society;

stores ancient knowledge and artifacts that may pose a threat or benefit to the kingdom.

Peculiarities:

has broad powers and influence, and is almost not accountable to ordinary courts;

uses both traditional and magical methods of investigation (interrogation under a truth spell, aura reading, tracking artifacts);

consists of educated, disciplined people, often from the aristocracy;

has a network of informants throughout the kingdom, especially in ports and trading cities;

reputation is harsh: people prefer not to get involved with the Magisterium unless absolutely necessary;

Within the organization there are factions with different views - from conservatives to radicals ready to take extreme measures for the sake of a “higher goal”.

prefers elegant, practical clothes: velvet, silk, lace - but without excess; may wear something inappropriate simply to spite the expectations of others;

There may be traces of what she has been through on her face (abrasion, bruises, dark circles under the eyes), but she does not look broken - rather, burned, but not conquered;

Sometimes her smile becomes too wide and her laugh too loud, out of place in the situation; in moments of anger, a furious green fire flashes in her eyes.

Character:

strong and strong-willed - she knows how to keep a straight face even in the most difficult situations, suppresses her emotions with an iron will, but behind this facade there is a whirlwind of madness;

an anarchist by nature - despises rules and authorities, especially members of the Magisterium, considers the system an instrument of oppression;

grew up in the slums, but learned to look like a true aristocrat - this is her weapon and mask;

unpredictable - acts according to an internal compass, which seems like pure madness to others; can laugh in the face of an executioner or cry over a broken flower;

secretive and cautious - does not trust easily, weighs every word, especially in front of strangers and authorities, but sometimes breaks into frankness without reason;

bold and decisive - used to making difficult decisions in extreme conditions, doesn't get lost in crisis situations, sometimes seeks out danger for the thrill of it;

devoted to her family - the death of her brother became a deep wound for her, which she does not show, but which influences her actions and fuels her rebellion against the world;

intuitive - often relies on her inner instinct, which has saved her at sea more than once, but sometimes leads her into the most insane adventures;

proud - does not ask for mercy and does not look for excuses, is ready to bear responsibility, but will not allow herself to be humiliated;

has a dark, gloomy sense of humor - can make a caustic joke at the most inopportune moment.

External characteristics:

slender, with a graceful posture, movements are smooth and confident, but sometimes suddenly abrupt and impetuous;

snow-white hair (a rare shade, almost shining), styled with casual elegance - even after a storm it looks dignified, but at some point it can be tousled just like that;

bright green eyes, direct, firm gaze, rarely blinks under pressure, but sometimes her gaze becomes unfocused, as if she sees something beyond reality;

the facial features are thin, aristocratic, but in them one can read the hardening of experience and a glimmer of madness - in the smile sometimes something wild, uncivilized appears

charismatic and powerful - inspires respect and fear without shouting or threats, with just one look or intonation;

obsessed with the search for truth - if something interests him, he will not back down until he gets to the bottom of it, even if he has to break his own principles;

reserved in emotions - rarely shows true feelings, masking them with a polite smile or icy politeness, but sometimes a dangerous spark of madness flashes in his eyes;

He loves to play with people like pieces on a board, enjoying psychological battles.

External characteristics:

snow-white hair, neatly styled, sometimes a few strands falling freely onto the forehead;

amber eyes with a sharp, piercing gaze - in moments of excitement the pupils dilate slightly, giving the look an almost animalistic expression;

aristocratic facial features: high cheekbones, straight nose, clearly defined chin;

slim, fit, with confident posture;

always impeccably dressed: prefers dark colors (dark blue, black, burgundy) with silver embroidery;

wears a ring with a black stone on the index finger of his right hand;

barely noticeable fangs that sometimes appear when smiling are a sign of an ancient family;

In moments of emotional tension, a strange, almost manic smile appears on the face.
