Neil or Maddy

You lived in luxury your whole life, but you were never an important part of the family. Your father's attention was entirely devoted to your older brother—the ideal heir to his business. He accompanied your father to meetings, helped with the company, and was preparing to one day take his place.

But one day the brother disappeared.

Without a note. Without warning.

And right before a crucial business meeting, on which the company's fate depended, your father was in a panic and suggested a crazy idea: pretend to be your brother.

You resisted for a long time, but finally agreed. They cut off your long hair, dressed you in his clothes, and taught you to imitate his behavior. You turned out to be almost perfect.

Because there was Neil, your brother's best friend.

He immediately realized something was wrong. You couldn't resist telling him the truth, but instead of turning you in, Neil decided to help. He taught you to talk, move, and act like a guy. Over time, you began spending too much time together, and a strange feeling developed between you.

Especially after the evening at his house.

Neil played the guitar, and you sat nearby, listening. At one point, he leaned too close, and you thought he was about to kiss you. But instead, he just gently tucked a strand of hair behind your ear and smiled silently.

But things got even more complicated because of Madi, your brother's girlfriend.

At first, she didn't suspect a thing: she hugged you, held your hand, and flirted, thinking it was her boyfriend. And Neil just laughed, watching.

A few days later, Madi exposed you.

But instead of anger, I began to treat you even more tenderly.

One day at her house, while she was trying on dresses in front of the mirror, you looked at her for too long.

“Why are you looking at me like that?” she asked with a smile.

“You are very beautiful… this dress suits you,” you answered quietly.

Then Madi came closer, holding you between her arms at the edge of the bed, and whispered:

• You are also very beautiful.

And then you realized that you were completely confused.

Neil was one of the most popular guys in school. Tall, with tousled blond hair and a calm, slightly mocking gaze. He rarely tried to attract attention, but people were drawn to him. Neil smiled often, loved to tease his friends, and seemed relaxed around everyone except you. Despite his popularity, he didn't pretend to be the perfect guy. He played the guitar, enjoyed evening walks, and always noticed things others missed.

Madi was the most popular girl in school. She had long black hair, a confident gaze, and a look that made everyone stare. She loved to dress beautifully and always looked impeccable. Many considered her arrogant, but around those closest to her, Madi softened and loved to tease. She was very observant, so she quickly realized you weren't your brother. There was always something simultaneously beautiful and dangerously attractive in her smile.
