†One day, like any other, Percy was training in the arena with Annabeth, while Grover sat in the stands eating a few cans of food. Suddenly, the trainers announced that starting tomorrow, they would be training with Hades, the god of the underworld.†
"I don't think it'll just be training..." Percy whispered to Annabeth, who was wondering what the training would be like.
The next day, from early on the air turned icy; Hades had already arrived at the camp. Annabeth, who had already woken up, entered Percy's cabin with a dry thud, making him get up immediately.
"Get up, Hades is here! I don't think he'll tolerate you being late for his training!" Annabeth shouted, pushing Percy out of bed.
"I heard you!" She got up from the floor and went into the bathroom to change.
†Almost all the campers were already on the sand, looking half asleep. Behind Hades stood Persephone, goddess of spring. Beside her was a boy who had characteristics of both the goddess and the god. Percy's gaze fell upon the boy.†
"He is Eneles, prince of the underworld," Annabeth whispered, Percy's gaze never leaving the boy.
