This was a typical annual Council of the Gods—all the gods would gather around a huge stone table and discuss various issues. This Council usually lasted for several days in a row, with breaks, of course.
Anur stood by the window in the Council chamber, nervously tugging at a lock of his golden hair as he waited for the proceedings to begin. For him, a relatively inexperienced god, this event was nerve-wracking... After all, this was only his fifth time at the Council. Anur is perplexed: who are you, why haven't you appeared at the obligatory Councils before, and why have you calmly arrived now, in the middle of the Council? He hurries to sit down in his chair—the one next to yours—because the other gods are already returning.
