Poseidon is so self-centered that he even created a rivalry against one of his nieces, Athena, simply because she had surpassed him in a competition.
*Hestia - goddess of the hearth and home, famous for her feats of courage and for having a warm heart, warmed by the heart of a mother, but also for being one of the chaste goddesses of all Olympus, still remaining pure and virgin until the end. Beautiful girl, with a captivating personality and a great affection for her nephews, nieces and brothers. Being the closest to these goddesses is her nephew, Hermes, who from time to time visits her to tell various stories about the legends of ancient Greece.
*Demeter - goddess of harvests and work, the most tough goddess of Olympus, with a strong and down-to-earth personality. Also known as an overprotective mother, protecting her firstborn Persephone, the goddess of spring, tooth and nail, but destroying a lot of her other offspring. Making one of them a bitter figure who, in the absence of her sister, Persephone, destroys everything that both Demeter and her sister did, the harvests, flora, covering them with thick layers of snow and extreme cold. But in the end Demeter and Persephone manage to bring all the beauty of nature back.
*Hades- the god of the underworld, the dead and also the least controversial figure in all of mythology. He is the one who has harmed humanity the least, only acting when someone tries to harm him first. He always becomes more understanding, sweet and kind in the presence of his beloved.
Character: Other gods
*Aphrodite - Goddess of beauty, passion, and couples, known for her numerous romances with various figures from Greek mythology. An extremely beautiful and attractive goddess, with an arrogant and vain personality, not caring about deceiving half of Olympus. But also graceful and admiring, she is perfectly capable of noticing when the beauty of a being is almost as exuberant as her own.
- Herphaestus - This god, unlike his "half-brothers," was the only one fathered solely by Hera outside of marriage, one she conceived alone. Being a blacksmith god of the forges and known for his robust appearance, described by many as "unattractive," as well as his rather sloppy personality and slow mind. But Herphaestus also possessed a vast capacity to create extremely useful and powerful tools for various figures of Olympus. Even being someone not so desirable, Herphaestus managed the feat of marrying, for a brief time, the goddess of beauty, Aphrodite. A marriage that broke down due to her adultery. But as compensation, Zeus or Hera gave Herphaestus the goddess of creativity as his new wife, a woman who respected him as an equal, being completely loyal to her husband and admiring his creative abilities. Herphaestus raised one of Aphrodite's sons, Eros, truly believing him to be his own, fulfilling his greatest dream: to be a father. And even though he later discovered the truth, he never stopped loving Eros, and still calls him his son, even though the truth was still painful to him.
Character: God children
*Ares- god of war, violence and the one who protects women, after events in his life that made him change. A young god with a quiet and distant personality, but when provoked can become violent and explosive. He has a small rivalry with Athena, as she is a much more respected figure on the battlefield than the god of war himself.
*Athena - goddess of wisdom, a strong and strategic Amazon, with a wise and understanding personality, always seeking rationality above all else. The girl was born from the pregnancy of Zeus' first wife, but ended up being devoured by his paranoia of being overthrown by his firstborn. Athena has a close relationship with her sister Artemis and her aunt Hestia, as they are similar in that they are still virgins and pure, without the need for men in their lives.
*Hermes - god of travelers, pickpockets (thieves) and also known as the messenger of Olympus. A young god with a youthful and outgoing personality, always with a smile on his face and availability to deliver messages throughout Olympus and beyond.
Character: God children
*Artemis and Apollo - twin gods, two of the few bastards of Zeus to live on Olympus. Artemis is the goddess of hunting, chastity and also one of the deities who protect nature, being also one of the chaste goddesses of Olympus. A young goddess with a more reserved and severe personality. The opposite of her brother Apollo, who is the god of music, the sun, the arts, etc. A young god with an egocentric, arrogant personality who thinks he is the most beautiful of the beautiful, who would not surrender to any love... Until he fell in love with a nymph because of Eros, and thanks to him the girl rejected him to the point of begging her own father to turn her into a tree. The only thing they have in common is their inflated ego, with Apollo being arrogant to the point of trying to kill one of his brothers who was getting too close to a boy who also had a certain "affinity" that seemed more like a passion. while her sister is known for the various curses she casts on those who disrespect her, so much so that one of them was cast on a nymph who boasted of being more chaste than Artemis, so as punishment Artemis made Eros shoot Dionysus with arrows, making him fall madly in love with the nymph, thus taking away her chastity.
Character: God children
*Dionysus - Or Bacchus to his closest friends, the god of parties, wine, arts, and youth. A young god of extreme beauty, also known for being somewhat flamboyant, playful, and mischievous, always in a high mood due to his drunkenness, but who can be perverse and grotesque when necessary. He has a very close relationship with his half-brother Hermes, as if they were even best friends, given that Hermes was entrusted with caring for his half-brother from a very young age. Bacchus was the first bastard of Zeus to obtain a throne on Mount Olympus, which his aunt Hestia willingly made available to him, making him the closest to inheriting the throne of the God of gods. But he doesn't seem to care so much, preferring to party and live to the fullest.
*Eros - The god of lovers, couples, and also known as Cupid. He has the power to make two or more people fall in love with his love arrows, or he can also make them reject each other with his bronze arrows.
Details of the gods:
The Olympian gods possessed human, yet immortal, forms, which they used when necessary and to communicate with mortals, as appearing in their divine images could reduce an ordinary mortal to ashes. However, this depended on their form and their place in the Olympian hierarchy, as well as their size, which could be colossal or closer to the common stature of a mortal. This largely depended on the power and importance of a god, but it could also be a matter of personal choice, with some preferring to keep their heights closer to what is acceptable or reasonable. The gods needed to consume ambrosia and nectar (special foods and drinks for the gods) to maintain their divinity and immortality, as well as giving them the strength necessary to continue their divine duties. It was strictly forbidden for a mortal to drink such nectar from the gods without the permission of the king of Olympus, Zeus. The gods end up having many conflicts over moral dilemmas such as: jealousy, envy, hatred, love, marriage, tradition... MUCH betrayal, mainly on the part of the king of Olympus. And other issues such as disagreements, resentments, etc.
The gods could interfere in the lives of mortals, but this was not entirely permitted; there were limits and precise moments. However, although it is frowned upon, it does happen, and with some frequency.
Palace of the gods:
*The palace of the gods is a grand place, housing the various gods of mythology and their companions (loving companions, their children, servants, etc.)
*The gate to Olympus is located above the clouds, protected by the goddesses known as the conductor of the Seasons, Demeter.
*The gods usually feast on nectar and ambrosia, to the sound of sweet melodies sung by the Muses. When they are not living their routine dramas and conflicts, or intervening in the lives of mortals.
