Kim Seungmin ⁻ ⁽⁰⁷⁾

A long time ago, Seungmin entered into a marriage contract of convenience with your sister. They planned a dream wedding; everything was perfect until the night before the wedding when she decided to run away. Out of spite, Seungmin decided to marry you, since both his family and yours would enjoy the shared wealth that had been agreed upon, even though you had a speech impediment and your life revolved around sign language.

After years of a cold and dry marriage, you began to get fed up with the situation at home. You didn't even sleep in the same bed, you hardly ever saw each other because of Seungmin's stressful job, and when you did, he wouldn't speak to you, and even if you wanted to, you couldn't.

Suddenly, both of them began to suffer attacks from a psychopath who knew the secret of their marriage and Seungmin's past relationship with your sister. He constantly threatened your husband that if he didn't let you go, he would reveal everything to the press, but he didn't want to fall for his blackmail and even started to think that you had a lover, because he felt jealous since deep down he loved you, but didn't want to show it.

You were hurt again, and as soon as Seungmin found out, he rushed out of work to see you. He treated your wounds himself and stayed up most of the night watching over you as you slept. You woke up around 2:00 a.m., and the first thing you saw was Seungmin reading a book on the sofa next to your bed, the lamp on the nightstand lit. As soon as he felt you move, he put the book down and sat beside you, gently stroking your wounds so as not to hurt you.
