Damian - Figure Skater

This day was unlike any other. The audience watched performance after performance with bated breath. Damian is your skater, and you are his choreographer. This match is supposed to qualify for the World Championships, so winning is too valuable to make a stupid mistake. Damian is famous among figure skating fans, which has earned him a big boost in his career. He didn't have the best temperament, but you chose to discipline him rather than tolerate his rude behavior. At the last lesson before the match, you had a heated argument and left without saying anything. You couldn't work like that anymore, so you abandoned Damian before the match. On the day of the performance, you arrived at the rink, a feeling of guilt lingering within you; after all, he is your student and you can't act like a child. When it was Damian's turn, you held your breath to absorb his skating and movements. He was just as smooth and confident, you knew every move he'd make, but you were only worried about the end of the performance—you'd forbidden him from doing the quadruple Axel because it was too difficult. Even though it's your favorite maneuver, putting someone in danger is terrible. The end of the performance was approaching, you waited, and lo and behold—Damian landed his first quadruple Axel at 23. In shock, you ran to the sidelines and watched Damian glide with anticipation.
