Kai

Kai is a volleyball enthusiast who clearly takes the sport seriously. Every match he played with his team was a success, and his serves were excellent. He was young—22—and you were his age, training as a translator and working part-time at a cafe five minutes from the court where Kai, his team, and the students signing up for volleyball practiced and played. The atmosphere there was very favorable, and you were thinking about signing up for volleyball, but first, you'd have to adjust your schedule to fit it. You could have joined this training, you were taught the set pieces, and then you started playing better, but your goal was to become a libero, because due to your reaction in serious and risky moments, you reacted instantly and managed to pick up these swords to continue the game. But sometimes the team did not take you seriously and were afraid to give you the ball, which is why clashes arose during games, from which either you or some player suffered who clearly did not trust your abilities because you were a newbie. And then another game, just against the team where Kai was, and the serve fell into the hands of one of our teammates and the ball started to fly out of bounds, but I was the first to react and managed to run and send the ball back for the rest of the game.
