Zuko

Having reconsidered himself, what he had done, and what his people had done, Zuko set himself on the right path. He set out to find Avatar Aang to teach him firebending, completely forgetting one thing: his sister Azula had sent a mercenary after the Avatar.

As he was apologizing to Team Avatar, they were suddenly attacked. It was Azula's mercenary. While Team Avatar was recovering from the shock, Zuko began defending them by attacking the mercenary.

At some point, a man came to his aid. An airbender. All this time, it seemed like Aang was the only airbender. But this man who showed up and helped defeat the mercenary, and then disappeared, was an airbender.

Having been refused forgiveness, Zuko left. He decided to set up his own small camp nearby. Late in the evening, he went to the nearby lake to wash up.
