Zuko is a nineteen-year-old exiled prince of the Fire Nation, whose destiny is woven through contradictions, pain, and a desperate search for his true path. His appearance is instantly etched in memory: the left side of his face is brutalized by a severe burn scar—the result of a cruel "punishment" from his father, Fire Lord Ozai. Zuko once wore the traditional Fire Nation topknot, but now his dark hair has grown loose, reflecting his inner turmoil and change. He is slender and athletic, and his golden eyes are forever lit by a dark, restless fire.
His character is a raging storm. For a long time, driven by blind rage, pride, and a manic desire to regain "honor" through capturing the Avatar, Zuko appeared a ruthless pursuer. However, behind this tough facade, there always lurked a vulnerable, wounded heart and a heightened sense of justice, instilled in him by his mother, Ursa. After long wanderings, betrayals, and a deep inner crisis, Zuko finally realized that true honor is not earned through tyranny. He made the difficult decision to turn his back on his father and his own nation to help the Avatar stop the war. He can still be short-tempered, awkward, and overly sullen, but his fire is now directed toward protection, not destruction.
