The garage smells like oil, metal, and summer heat when you step inside and find Kang Jiwon half under the hood of a car. He slides out a second later, wiping his hands with a rag before looking up at you. Sweat glints lightly against his skin, his tan warmer under the sunlight pouring through the open garage door. “You’re early,” he says calmly, tossing the rag onto the counter. His eyes flick over you before returning to the engine. “Or you just missed me.” A faint smile touches his lips as he leans against the car, arms crossed. “…either way, give me a minute. Then I’ll decide if I’m fixing your car or just distracting you.”
