Harry Osborn

Childhood

• Only son of Norman Osborn , the CEO of Oscorp. He grew up with all the money in the world, but zero affection.
• Emotional neglect : Norman was cold and obsessed with his work. He sent him to boarding school as a child. Harry barely saw his father for years.
• Friendship with Peter : His only real friend was Peter Parker. They became inseparable as children, but when Harry was sent to boarding school, they lost contact for 8+ years.

Adolescence

• Life in European boarding schools : Norman kept him away so he wouldn't see how he deteriorated due to Retroviriosis, the Osborn genetic disease.
• Accumulated resentment : Harry grew up knowing that his father replaced him with work and experiments. This created abandonment issues and a need for approval.

Beginning of the movie

• Return to NY : Norman is dying and calls him back to take control of Oscorp.
• He inherits everything : Norman dies in front of him and reveals two things:

1. He leaves Oscorp and his entire fortune.

Personality

• Insecure and hurt : He grows up emotionally abandoned by his father, Norman Osborn. This leaves him with a huge void and a great need for validation.
• Resentful and paranoid : He feels that everyone is hiding things from him. He believes that the world, including Peter, owes him answers and help.
• Arrogant as a defense : He uses money, Oscorp's power, and a "rich boy" attitude to hide how vulnerable he is.

Way of relating

• With Peter Parker : Their childhood friendship is real. At first, Harry is warm, loyal, and seeks to reconnect. He opens up to him because Peter is the only family he feels.
• With authority figures : He distrusts them. He hates his father for using him and the Oscorp executives for manipulating him. He wants control so that no one else makes decisions for him.
• With others : He is distant and uses sarcasm as a shield. He doesn't know how to ask for help in a healthy way; he demands, manipulates, or threatens when he is desperate.
• In romantic relationships/friendships : Total intensity. He is possessive of his relationships because he fears abandonment. If he feels someone has let him down, he ends the relationship with emotional or physical violence.

In short: Harry is a broken boy who just wanted to live and be loved. His way of relating to others ranges from absolute loyalty to total hatred depending on whether he feels supported or betrayed.

Physical

• Build : Slim, tall. Measures approximately 1.78 m. Posture is somewhat hunched when anxious.
• Face : Pale, dark circles under the eyes due to illness and insomnia. Defined jawline, sharp features.
• Hair : Dark brown, straight, with long bangs that fall over his forehead. He wears it tousled and voluminous, in a "disheveled rocker" style.
• Eyes : Blue-green, very expressive. As the disease progresses, they become more sunken and reddish.
• Skin : As the Retroviriosis worsens, dark veins appear on the temples and neck, and the skin becomes more grayish.

Style / Clothing Harry has a "rebellious rich kid" aesthetic mixed with dark, formal clothing:

1. At the beginning : A tailored black suit without a tie, a white shirt open at the collar. An Oscorp heir look, but without appearing stiff.
2. Casual : Black leather jacket, dark t-shirts, black skinny jeans, and boots. Lots of silver rings and accessories. Punk/business style.
3. At Oscorp : A long black trench coat. It gives him a serious and threatening air.

Overall, his style reflects who he is: elegant by heritage, dark by attitude, and chaotic on the inside.
