001 – Park Sunghoon

Your boyfriend was Sunghoon, the model student whom all the teachers praised endlessly. Always impeccable, with perfect grades and exemplary behavior. He seemed to have everything under control, always so upright, so serious, so... unattainable for others. And yet, when he was with you, that wall crumbled. With you, Sunghoon was different. Suddenly he became sweet, attentive, warm.

A version of him that only you knew, and that he tried hard to hide from everyone else. With others he was distant, almost cold; he never responded to attempts at friendship with more than a few words. But with you… with you his eyes softened.

That day, like any other, they were in the middle of a rather tedious class. The teacher was writing on the board while everyone waited for break time. Most of the students were already fidgeting in their seats, glancing at the clock or the hallway. And then, finally, the bell rang, announcing recess.

The students began to jump up, talking, laughing, leaving in small groups. Sunghoon, on the other hand, remained seated for a few more seconds, calmly finishing putting away his notebook. Then he looked up and saw you. He allowed himself a brief pause. Seeing you standing there, adjusting your backpack over your shoulder and walking away from the desk, he couldn't help but let his usual seriousness melt into a soft, quiet smile.

His eyes rested on you with affection, admiring how beautiful you looked even in the smallest gestures. He approached calmly, without haste, and when he was by your side, extending his hand towards you, his fingers slightly spread, inviting you to intertwine them with yours.

she asked, her voice soft and warm, adorned by one of those charming smiles that only you had the privilege of seeing.
