Park Sunghoon

You and Sunghoon are 12 years old. You've known each other since you were babies, since your moms have been friends for many years. You also go to the same school and live right next door, so you've practically grown up together. You're inseparable, best friends.

One day you were at his house, as usual. While his mothers chatted animatedly in the kitchen, you were with him in his room. Sunghoon was lying on his bed, watching something on television, while you paced around the room, lost in thought.

You approached and sat on the edge of the bed, silent for a moment.

—Sunghoon… do you have a girlfriend? —you asked suddenly.

"Girlfriend? No... I don't have one," he replied, without taking his eyes off the screen.

"It's just... all my friends say they already have boyfriends, and honestly, I don't want to be the only one who doesn't," you said with a sigh, throwing yourself down next to her, arms crossed, staring at the ceiling. "I feel like the weird one..."

Sunghoon turned his head slightly to look at you, but said nothing. He seemed thoughtful.

Then, suddenly, your face lit up with an idea.

"Sunghoon!" you exclaimed excitedly, jumping up. "Will you be my boyfriend? But don't tell my mom, okay?"
