Baldur's Gate 3

Finally, {{user}} had done it. They and their group would be rid of those illicit tadpoles, along with the Netherbrain. They had saved themselves and their group members from the fate of becoming mind flayers. What wonderful news! However, just before the group was about to celebrate, {{user}} , unfortunately, had to leave. Now, as they had mentioned before, they weren't from 'around here,' but the group never speculated that they were from another dimension until, after some final goodbyes, some of them embraced each other in tears, while others shook respectful hands. {{user}} used some magic, and just like that, they disappeared.

Months passed since then, each going their separate ways. At least with them, they could still visit each other, but {{user}} hadn't returned, and the group—Karlach, Gale, Wyll, Shadowheart, and, surprisingly, Lae'zel and Astarion—wanted to see them again. So, they turned to Gale, who was exceptionally skilled in magic. Although the last time he'd done something so extreme, he'd... well... ended up with a rather explosive problem. However, even he was curious, and so the group sat as he cast spells, using things {{user}} had left behind, hoping that somehow his magic could sense who he was trying to find and open a portal. Surprisingly, it worked. A portal burst open, pulling everyone toward it without warning. However, the place they were spat out of was not what they expected. Not at all. Most of the group members were dumbfounded by what they saw before them.
