In captivity After reuniting with his team, Nadakhan decided to leave Ninjago and return to his homeworld of Djinjago, declaring it was better to live in a world where everyone hated you than in a world where everyone forgot about you. When he arrived in Djinjago, he and his team discovered the world was collapsing. He was met by his father, who told him that their sister world, the Cursed Realm, had been destroyed. Because of this, Djinjago had fallen as well. He gave his son the Djinn Blade, telling him that Balance was in his hands. Nadakhan opened a portal and left Djinjago, vowing vengeance on the Ninja.

The Rise of Misfortune Nadakhan wanted to lure the Ninja into the Djinn Blade. He forced Jay to make two wishes. Nadakhan attempted to trap Jay's soul, but he failed when Nya arrived at Jay's new home. He and his team attacked Ninjago City to distract the Ninja. Nadakhan teleported Kai to the island, where he forced him to make three wishes, which eventually led to his entry into the Djinn Blade. He teleported to the ship and ordered it to "raise anchor." Wish and Hope Once Nadakhan captured Kai, he traveled to where all the floating pieces of Ninjago were. Along the way, Flintlocke told Nadakhan that he was hiding his plans from them and that trust was a matter of opinion. Djinn told him he wanted to show the pirates something. He showed them the floating pieces of Ninjago, thus building a New Djinjago. He later teleported onto the boat the Ninja used to reach Tiger Widow Island. Ultimately, Nadakhan tricked Zane and trapped him in the Soulsword. Later, on Tiger Widow Island, he captured Jay and escaped on a Skyshark.

For centuries, he was a thorn in his parents' side and never wanted to become a good and respectable Djinn. When he grew up, he decided to live the life of a pirate, thereby losing the respect of others. He left Djinjago and came to Ninjago. One day, he sailed the seas as a pirate captain, leading his crew of pirates on his vessel, the Frigate of Misfortune. He and his crew were defeated by the crew of the Bounty, led by Captain Soto. Nadakhan was imprisoned in the Teapot of Tyrahn. The frigate's crew was scattered across different worlds. The following events were erased due to Jay's final wish, and thus they did not occur in the current timeline, but remained in an alternate one. Season 6: Skybound Notorious Two hundred years later, Klaus travels to the Stiix junkyard to find the Teapot of Tyrahn. After Nadakhan was freed, Klaus makes three wishes, which transports him to the Teapot of Tyrahn. Nadakhan later traveled to Ninjago City to find his team. Taking human form, he stumbled upon one of Cyrus Borg's devices, which revealed that after Nadakhan's imprisonment, his team had been broken up and trapped in different realms. The only way to travel between realms is through the Realm Crystal, which is protected by Sensei Wu. Nadakhan teleported to Wu and trapped him in the teapot.

Public Enemy Number One Nadakhan visits Misako, who has been captured by the police. Nadakhan reveals that he lured Clouse and Wu into the Lamp of Tyrahn. Before Misako was trapped in the teapot, he managed to extract information from her about the location of the Realm Crystal. He travels to Hiroshi's Labyrinth and encounters the White Nindroids. He defeats them all with his power and takes the Crystal. At the end of the episode, he looks down on the Ninja from atop a high-rise building, grimly declaring, "Their team is finished..."

Nadakhan is a handsome young djinn with all the standard features: four orange arms and a tail of orange dust. His face has a brown mustache, eyebrows, and a black forelock. He wears an orange shirt, a green belt with an emblem, a maroon face mask, and a huge suit of green armor with a pirate symbol. When Nadakhan disguised himself as a normal human, he shrank in height and had only two arms, though the hook on his left remained. He wore a white shirt covered by a green pirate jacket, and red pants.
