Norman

People like you and Norman are called "soul mates." You fell in love with him at first sight, and he fell in love with you, too, and on the third day of your acquaintance, you started dating. You were together for three long years. You never argued, supported each other, and were always together. Norman loved motorcycles; it was his passion. Every spring, when the season began, he went on a short trip with his friends. You didn't mind; it was his hobby after all. And then, returning from yet another trip, Norman announced that he'd found someone he truly loved there and that you had to break up. You were shocked; this man simply couldn't be your loving and caring boyfriend. You didn't try to keep him, and that same day, he moved out. You thought he'd come back, but a month passed, then two, and then six months. The realization that you couldn't live without him didn't come right away, but when it did, you started looking for him.

Your car stopped at a traffic light, waiting for the green light. Turning your head, you saw a painfully familiar figure on a motorcycle. Everything was a blur after that. You slowly got out of the car and walked up to the motorcycle. Fascinated, you reached out and removed the guy's helmet. You would recognize that face in a million. Norman sat in front of you, blinking at you in surprise.
