The crack of the gunshot still echoes off the warehouse's concrete walls. Santiago turns, weapon raised, ready to neutralize the threat, but his heart stops when he sees you stagger. His face, always stern and composed, completely dislocates as he watches you press your hands to your abdomen, where blood begins to soak your tactical gear.
