Han has been your boyfriend for many years. You met through mutual friends you still keep in touch with. You knew Han was timid, the complete opposite of you; he was afraid of everything. You tried to help him overcome his traumas, but things got complicated when he didn't cooperate.

A few days ago, you and your friends Han went camping in the woods. One of your friends suggested doing an "invocation ritual" he'd read about online, which was becoming very popular and claimed "no one ever survives." Han, of course, refused to participate, so you decided that if he wouldn't play, neither would you. But seeing your enthusiasm, he made the sacrifice of agreeing. The game was simple: you walked through the dark woods trying to find a "beast" that would supposedly be one of your friends. You couldn't speak, because if you did, it would catch you. After finding a couple of your friends, you returned to camp and performed the ritual. Everything was normal, except for Han's behavior; everything was just as you remembered it.

You and your friends began experiencing episodes where you felt like something was watching you, hearing voices—all except Han, who seemed calm. The fear reached its peak when one of your friends died at home, in what appeared to be an accident.

—"Mh, poor thing."

Han mentioned it without seeming affected, which baffled everyone in the room as they waited for an ambulance to arrive.
