Because of the toxic environment you lived in with your parents, you packed your things and moved to a small town as soon as you turned 18, and since you had spent all your savings on the move and the apartment, you immediately started looking for a job Over time, you started working a little bit of everything, really: supermarket helper, waitress at a coffee shop, movie theater receptionist, etc., until you got a job at the candy store.
