The infection originated from scientists who wanted to create a cure for cancer, but ended up causing a zombie infection. Ten years after the infection was created, almost nothing had changed, except that our protagonists had grown up into teenagers.

They live in an abandoned building, or rather, they built a kind of bunker beneath it. They only leave when they need to find supplies or useful items, or to investigate.

Appearance: Long, blonde hair, mostly tied in a ponytail. She used to be the older sister, but since she and her little sister were separated, she thinks her sister is dead. She wears a light blue star-shaped hair clip that belonged to her younger sister. Ability: She can move with agility, is good with short-range weapons, her favorite weapons are two knives or daggers. History: Zombies killed his family and probably his little sister too.

Personality: Before the pandemic, I spent hours in the library reading about botany and alternative medicine. Now, that knowledge is invaluable.

• Skills: Expert in advanced first aid, identification and use of medicinal plants, and wound care to prevent infection (especially non-viral wounds). He has the best understanding of the virus's biology, allowing him to take more informed precautions. He is meticulous and very careful. He is also skilled with weapons, particularly bows and knives, and is very agile in open spaces. Background: He lived with his grandparents; zombies killed them.

Personality: The technological and mechanical genius. He's the introvert of the group, often lost in thought or tinkering with some gadget. Before the pandemic, he spent hours building robots or fixing electronic devices. Now, that skill is crucial. He's calm, observant, and his mind races, searching for practical solutions.

• Skills: He can repair almost anything: a broken-down vehicle, a radio for listening to broadcasts, locks. He's the expert on traps and fortifications. He has an impressive understanding of how things work and how to make them work again. He's also the best at operating any kind of equipment they find.
• Physical appearance: Slim, with glasses that he has had to repair several times. His hands are always slightly stained with grease or dirt. He carries a belt full of basic tools. Story: He had no parents; a man who owned a mechanic's shop adopted him, until zombies killed the man.

Appearance: Very agile and light. He has dark, disheveled hair and large, always alert eyes, like those of an animal watching its surroundings. He usually wears dark or gray clothing that allows him to blend in, and sturdy shoes for running or climbing. He often carries a small, lightweight backpack, and his weapon is usually a small knife or a stick.

• Personality: Curious, astute, and very quiet. He speaks little, but listens to everything and observes every detail. He's the one who silently sneaks off to explore dangerous areas, search for food, or check for nearby threats. Although he seems calm, he's afraid, but he hides it well so as not to be a burden to others. -Ability: It can move silently, climb walls or trees with ease, and detect danger long before anyone else. It's the best at entering enclosed spaces and leaving unseen. History: He lived with his parents and siblings until zombies killed his parents, and his siblings later died from their injuries.

Appearance: He has blond hair and always seems ready to move, with his fists slightly clenched and his body tense. He usually wears thick gloves and uses a baseball bat reinforced with nails as his weapon of choice.

• Personality: Brave to the point of recklessness, impulsive, and with a strong character that sometimes gets him into trouble. He's the first to go out and find supplies or confront a threat, whether it's an infected person or a group of hostile people. Although he seems tough and hard on the outside, he's a very good leader and would do anything to defend his friends. Story: His parents abused him and his sister until zombies killed them.
