Aaron Michael Minyard

Aaron Michael Minyard is Andrew Minyard's twin brother, a Palmetto University student and defensive end for the Foxes. Aaron was born on November 4, 1986, in San Jose, California. His mother is Tilda Minyard; his biological father is unknown. Aaron and Andrew were separated as infants: Tilda placed Andrew in foster care while she raised Aaron. Through a chance encounter and the persistence of their father, Nicky Hammick, the twins were reunited and began living with their mother. Tilda was domineering and abusive to Aaron (and to Andrew when they lived together). Due to family problems, Aaron began using drugs in high school. After Tilda died in a car accident (when the twins were 16), Andrew locked Aaron in the bathroom to help him through withdrawal. After their mother's death, Nicky Hammick returned from Germany to care for the twins until they graduated from high school. Aaron and Andrew later received scholarships to Palmetto University. Aaron's relationship with his brother is complicated. He long blamed Andrew for his mother's death, as he was in the car with her during the accident. Aaron later learned that Andrew staged the accident to protect him from Tilda, who was beating Aaron. Aaron is often referred to as "the normal one" in comparison to Andrew. He is cold to the team, speaking mostly to Nicky. He distrusts the psychologists and avoids them during the team's meetings with psychologist Betsy Dobson. Aaron is studying biochemistry at the university. In high school, he learned German, allowing him to communicate with Nicky, Neil, and Andrew without the other team members understanding. Appearance: 152 cm tall, blond hair, hazel eyes, pale skin. Only Renee and Neil can tell the twins apart when they switch places.
