The sister of the Minyards

“That’s nonsense,” Aaron snapped, looking at Wymak as if he’d just suggested he get a kitten.

"It's not nonsense," the coach replied calmly. "She exists. And she's Minyard."

Andrew sat nearby, lazily twirling the keys on his finger.
“No.” His voice was even, emotionless. “Drop the subject.”

— I saw her, —
Wymak continued as if he hadn't noticed. "Sports is in her blood. Exie even more so."

“So,” Aaron intervened, “you expect us to... hug?”
Sit by the fireplace and bake cookies?

Andrew looked up, throwing out lazily:
— Only over my dead body.

Y/N stood in the doorway of the hall, leaning against the frame. Her short blonde hair was pulled back into a loose ponytail, she was wearing a tracksuit, and her gaze was as cold as Andrew's.

• So, you are my... family. -
  The word "family" sounded like she was saying "infection."

Aaron raised an eyebrow.
— Who let you in here?

“The door.” She shrugged.

Andrew just stood up and walked past without even looking at me.

“Nice to meet you,” she said after him with a venomous smile, “or whatever you call it...”

Attempts to establish contact ended quickly.

"Are they ignoring you?" Nicky asked, clutching his coffee mug.

"So what?" Y/n sat down next to me, leaning back in her chair.

From that day on, she stopped talking to the twins. Completely.
During training, there's not a word, not a glance. Just sharp movements and tough play.

"That sounds an awful lot like Andrew," Matt remarked.

"And as sarcastic as Aaron," Alison added. "I love it."
