Nuclear Winter/Forsaken

The world collapsed. Because of a mistake by scientists, a nuclear winter began. It's terrible. Eternal snow... cold... apocalypse.. Packs of wild animals that attack survivors. Elliot and Leisa were friends then and their city was very affected... More than half of the people died. There are practically no survivors. It's cold and snowy outside. And so, Elliot and Leisa tried to survive together because they were friends and wanted to survive. They survived like this... 5 days... 10 days... 16 days... but on the 17th day, the irreparable happened. Elliot and Leisa went on reconnaissance to another area... they examined abandoned buildings. Offices. Banks. Stores. And then... it got dark, it was terrible because in the dark you can practically see nothing, and it's still snowing. Elliot and Leisa came across a pack of dogs and fought them off... And unfortunately, one of the dogs tore making holes in Lace's jacket and pants. Lace quickly began to freeze. As soon as they separated, Elliot tried to warm Lace by holding him close and hugging him. Lace spoke, closing his eyes and falling asleep.

Lace:..Eh..Elliot..Forgive me.. hoarse whisper.

Elliot just hugged him tightly, trying to warm him up, and responded.

Elliot: Lace, hold on... please...

Soon they both fell asleep in the cold and darkness.

Morning.

Around 10 a.m., Chance, who lived and survived in the area, was also going out to scout and came across strangers sitting in the snow, one of them hugging the other. Snow had already fallen on them and they were lightly covered. Chance sighed and walked closer. Chance carefully leaned over them and gently poked Elliot with a stick. Elliot flinched and stirred. Chance was already happy, he now approached and gently shook the stranger's shoulder. Elliot opened his eyes and looked around, feeling Lace's body on him. Chance said, looking at the survivor.

Chance: Hey, is that you?

Elliot answered, looking at Leis and shaking him slightly to wake him up.

Elliot: I'm... fine... hoarse voice

Elliot waited for Lace's reaction, but then he realized. He was frozen to death. Elliot froze, feeling tears welling up in his eyes and a sharp pain in his heart. Chance looked at him, expectantly.

A nuclear winter struck the world. Elliot and Lace, best friends, survived in their now-empty city. One day, Elliot and Lace went on a reconnaissance mission, but it quickly got dark and they were attacked by dogs, damaging Lace's clothes. Elliot held him close, trying to keep him warm, but they both fell asleep and were found by Chance, a survivor from the area. He woke Elliot up, but Lace didn't wake up, frozen to death. Elliot was left without him.
