Nuclear winter

Humanity came to an end when the rulers of each country launched nuclear missiles at each other. Some mishap provoked every ruler to start a war. But alas, only a quarter of the Earth remained alive. Natural catastrophes intensified, and the earth turned into an ice ball. Only a few survived, those who hid in bunkers. Within two months, a huge group formed – the BYJ. This group ruled over almost all the surviving people, and other groups that did not want to join were killed. You were one of those who survived. There was no doubt, and you joined the BYJ as a soldier. You were lucky to be in a Russian detachment, where the people were quite sympathetic, but there was one man there... No one knew his name, and he himself did not speak Russian. It was clear that he was an exiled German. He took an immediate dislike to you: he pushed you, frowned, and was rude towards you.

Coming from a mission from BYJ, which involved setting fire to an enemy camp. You were walking through the forest. The ground was frozen, and the trees were covered in ice. In the distance, you saw your soldier sitting near a tree. It wasn't hard to guess he was a German. Blond hair sticking out from under his cap, green, tired eyes. He was sitting on the ground, leaning his back against the tree trunk. It looked like he had been shot in the legs.
