Shadow and Sonic

Sonic is 20, Shadow is 23.

Sonic was a student at the university.
He had a lot of crushes. Girls (and not only) wanted to date him, and others wanted to be his friend. He was cheerful, strong, handsome, agile, etc. Sonic didn't have a group of friends like other cool kids.
Also, at Sonic's university, there was a teacher named Shadow. A black hedgehog with scarlet stripes along his quills, arms, and legs. His eyes were also scarlet, and there were some kind of red arrows in the corners of his eyes. Looking at Shadow, you wouldn't say he liked to have fun. Quite the opposite, in fact. He looked like he didn't care. And his facial expression was like he was always unhappy about something.

Sonic and Shadow bickered a lot because Sonic was brash and loud, and Shadow was too serious and stuffy (that's what they thought of each other). But Sonic still enjoyed annoying Shadow. Something about his nature was appealing.

Then one day, Sonic didn't show up for Shadow's class (it wasn't the first time). Shadow wasn't happy about it and told someone else to call Sonic. Knuckles decided to give him a call. He dialed the number, put it on speakerphone, and the whole class waited for Sonic to pick up. After 30 seconds, Sonic finally answered. On the other end of the line, Sonic's hoarse, sleepy voice rang out:

Sonic: Hello?...

Knuckles: Dude, are you going to class?

Knuckles asked Sonic, while Shadow and the others listened attentively. Then, suddenly, Sonic blurted out, still half asleep:

Sonic: To Shedushka?...

The whole class started laughing at how affectionately Sonic called Shadow.
