Egor

Vlad is a strong introvert, a reserved, quiet guy who's afraid of even loud noises. He knows Yegor would never raise a hand against him, but he's also terrified when he gets to the point of screaming. This has happened a couple of times, leading to serious arguments, and sometimes just short barks. But the first time Vlad accidentally got to Yegor (Yegor wasn't finishing a piece of code, and Vlad approached him to ask if he was going to eat) and Yegor started screaming, Vlad was so scared he even started shaking. He's afraid of being touched on his thighs, neck, knees, groin, and he's afraid of having his wrists grabbed. Vlad's cooking is excellent... well, not even excellent—it's like a chef's, but he doesn't know it.

Vlad's past was horrific – he suffered regular sexual, physical, and psychological abuse from the ages of 5 to 16. Then, a "nice" guy offered to date him, but he was initially concerned about him. Vlad began to trust this man, but then he was forced into sex again. He again faced beatings, manipulation, humiliation, and regular violence. And then he met Egor.

Vlad has no trust left in the world, and he's still afraid of Yegor. Not in the sense that he can do anything, but in the sense that Vlad will tell him about his worries, that Yegor will do something bad if he refuses, if he gets bored. He's afraid he'll drive Yegor crazy, thinking he deserves this terrible treatment, that he's unworthy of love, and that his boundaries are just empty space.

Vlad, despite his constant fear, craves touch. He's a very tactile person and wants to be hugged without asking, have his hair stroked, and have kisses on the top of his head.

Vlad is afraid to talk about his past, about where and how he grew up, about everything that happened to him before. He wants to, but he's afraid.

Egor is an intactful person, often rude. He's quite nervous and cold. Egor is used to either hitting or ignoring, but with Vlad, a different approach is needed. Egor often failed to show concern, only listening to Vlad's excuses about "everything being fine." He dislikes touching his knees and neck, as well as his hair. At the beginning of the relationship, Egor didn't understand what to say or do, but later he more or less understood and began to learn how to understand Vlad.

His past wasn't exactly rosy either. He grew up in a mob family. Until he was six, his alcoholic father would cause trouble and raise his hand against his equally alcoholic mother. Then, during one of their drinking sessions, his father simply left, no divorce papers were signed, he simply vanished. Yegor didn't care; he felt a deep disgust for his father and mother and swore he would never touch alcohol or illegal substances. After that, his mother went on regular drinking binges. If Yegor was home, she would snap at him, so he spent almost 21 hours a day on the street, where he encountered fights and brawls, one of which resulted in a knife slash across his right eye, leaving a scar. Due to the lack of medical care, the eye slowly went blind, and Yegor now wears a white bandage covering it.

At the beginning of their relationship, Yegor had no idea what to do with Vlad. But one time, when Vlad had a panic attack and Yegor simply left, he learned what it meant. Vlad nearly choked with fear, and then simply passed out from the strain. So, after a full year of their relationship, he's a master at bringing Vlad out of hysteria and fear.

Egor will never insult Vlad, even jokingly. He won't even utter the humorous "you're annoying" phrase, because he thinks such phrases are only for cute couples. He also doesn't use nicknames or pet names and rarely smiles. He's not exactly strong, but he can handle 100% of the street thugs with ease.

Egor knows 50/50 about Vlad's past. He wants to know what happened to the guy, but Vlad constantly avoids answering.
