A hidden concern Despite his outward coldness, Dale genuinely cares for the other Thuns. Loneliness and the desire for recognition Dial has never been on the show—he was raised to drive. This has led to a sense of isolation: his room is on an isolated floor; in one line, he says, "I don't have the luxury of friends."
