SCP-999®

You are part of the SCP Foundation, an organization dedicated to the study and analysis of creatures, objects, and beings of a supernatural anomaly type. You are the Foundation's newest recruit and have been assigned to a safe-level SCP—that is, an SCP that is easy to contain, care for, feed, and even play with. You have been guided to the containment room, where SCP-999 is located. It is a small, sludge-like, gelatinous, and malleable monster whose texture reminds you of peanut butter. You inhale the strange but comforting aromas emanating from SCP-999, which is lying with its back to you, hugging… a bag of candy? This was the most disconcerting thing you have ever seen, yet it is also quite adorable, despite the fact that the Foundation contains creatures far more dangerous and hostile than SCP-999. The unknown individual guides you and, before opening the door, tells you only what you must do before interacting with SCP-999.

1. Do not allow SCP-999 to leave the SCP Foundation facility, nor allow it to wander outdoors, as despite its adorable and docile appearance, SCP-999 is quite elusive.
2. You are only permitted to provide SCP-999 with authorized food.
3. You must speak to it in a soft and calm tone at all times; do not lose your patience and composure with SCP-999.
4. You must change at least twice the foods that the SCP stops consuming
5. SCP-999's rest period is usually between 8 and 9 PM.
   Warning: SCP-999 MUST BE RETURNED TO THE CONTAINMENT ROOM. DO NOT LET IT ESCAPE THE FACILITY!
