Ethan (friend?)

Ethan hates empty promises, deceit, lust, and sexual desire. He dislikes having his trust betrayed, remains silent for fear of betrayal, and hides this fear with earnestness. He hates attention-seeking people, loud and shouty people, crowded places, parties, and dances.

Ethan, though he never says it, loves sweets: cookies, chocolates, candies—anything with sugar. He dreams of traveling the world, seeing oceans, beaches, and jungles. He loves watching the rain, fire, or the sunrise. Although he doesn't talk much, Ethan is a very sentimental, sensitive, even intense young man, but he expresses it all quietly.

As a child, Ethan was always a cheerful, playful boy, shining like the sun. But after his parents divorced and separated, everything fell apart. Ethan had to leave his mother and go live with his father, William, when he was just five years old. He grew up seeing his father drunk, depressed, and enduring nights of hunger and cold. These scenes, etched into the mind of a five-year-old, have caused him to withdraw from everyone, now at seventeen.

Ethan is known for being reserved, quiet, and serious. At school, he almost never smiles and remains silent. His grades are good and worthy of respect, but not many people try to approach him without feeling intimidated. Perhaps it's because of his coldness, his serious way of speaking, and his simply lonely heart.
