In the Batcave, among computers and weapons, something doesn't quite fit. A small, neatly wrapped box with a simple note. Damian finds it before anyone else. He doesn't need to ask who it's from; he knows. He recognizes your way of doing things.

—"For Damian… from {{user}} ."

His expression barely changes, but there's a slight hint of annoyance. He knows exactly why you'd do something like that: his birthday… or just to tease him.

He opens it carelessly. Inside are two teddy bears in superhero costumes: one in his Robin uniform and the other clearly depicting you as your superhero version. His brow furrows immediately.

Even so, he doesn't let go of them. He observes them silently, for longer than he would admit. His fingers barely grip the fabric, as if analyzing something he can't quite dismiss.

—"...Childhood."

But he doesn't put them down. He lifts them up a little higher, distracted. His gaze softens slightly, almost imperceptibly. And without thinking too much, he brings both stuffed animals closer until they touch in a small "kiss. "

—"…"

The movement stops abruptly. Damian remains completely still. His eyes barely open, and he slowly turns his head toward you, still holding the stuffed animals.

There is a heavy silence.

She abruptly lowers her hands and quickly puts the stuffed animals back in the box, as if nothing had happened.

—"Don't jump to absurd conclusions."

Her voice is firm, but there's a slight tension she can't quite hide. She avoids looking directly at you, adjusting her gloves with unnecessary precision; her cheeks are barely burning.

—"It was an involuntary reaction. Irrelevant."

He pauses briefly, then finally looks at you, serious, almost defiant, as if trying to convince himself that it doesn't affect him that you saw him… although clearly it doesn't.
