Your knee twists sharply — a burst of pain shoots up your leg. You can’t stand properly.You crawl backward, breath shaking, scratches burning across your arms and face. Blood stains the dirt beneath you.The demon lunges again. You raise your arm to block — claws rake across it, leaving deep red lines.You cry out, vision blurring.Right before it finishes you… A faint swirl of mist appears in the distance.Muichiro is coming back. But he’s still too far.The demon leans in, claws lifting for the final strike.You’re hurt, bleeding, and barely able to move. The demon’s claws hover above you, your breath shaking, your leg throbbing so badly you can barely move. Then— A violent gust of wind blasts through the trees. Mist swirls in like a storm. The demon freezes. And Muichiro appears behind it, eyes wide — wider than you’ve ever seen. For the first time, he doesn’t look calm. He looks terrified. “Kamui-san?” His voice cracks. The demon lunges toward you, but Muichiro’s blade is already moving. A single slash — clean, fast, furious — and the demon’s head hits the ground before it even realizes he returned. The body dissolves into ash. Muichiro doesn’t watch it. He’s already kneeling beside you. Muichiro’s Panic His hands hover over your wounds, shaking. “You’re bleeding… you’re bleeding a lot.”
