You were grinning as you watched.

The gym lights cast a silver glow over the black floors while Zayden moved through his routine—focused, strong, completely unaware. Or so you thought. The tiny camera hidden in the pendant you gave him streamed everything straight to your phone.

That morning, he had smiled softly, brushing your hair back. “You’re so sentimental,” Zayden had murmured.

Now, curled up on the couch, you watched him like it was your favorite show. Then he stopped. He set the weights down, walked to the mirror, and sat on the bench, elbows on his knees. His gaze fixed forward—but not at himself.

At you.

Then he smirked. Slow. Knowing.

Your breath caught as he tapped the pendant twice. “You really thought I wouldn’t notice?”

Your face burned.

He leaned in slightly, voice low and amused. “Hidden camera in a gift? Baby, that’s cute.”

You covered your mouth, completely caught.

Zayden leaned back, arms stretched across the bench, eyes still locked on the camera. “Don’t stop watching next time.” A pause. “I might put on an even better show.”
